Defense organizations face strict requirements when working with sensitive 3D data, mission information, or classified models. Traditional XR systems create risks because devices can store data, require file transfers, or rely on cloud services. Hololight Stream removes these risks through secure, server-side pixel streaming, ensuring no data ever leaves your controlled environment.
The risk: Headsets used in the field or shared environments can be lost, stolen, or accessed by unauthorized personnel.
Hololight solution: No data is ever stored on the device. Only pixels are streamed. If the headset disappears, it contains zero sensitive information
The risk: Defense teams often share devices, creating the risk of data remnants.
Hololight solution: Hololight Stream leaves no local data, temporary files, or caches. Devices can rotate between units without resets.
The risk: Sensitive models cannot leave secure networks, be uploaded to the cloud, or stored on mobile hardware.
Hololight solution: All rendering happens inside your infrastructure. Data never leaves your secure network. Only visual output is sent to the device.
The risk: Many defense environments forbid cloud use or require isolated networks.
Hololight solution: Hololight Stream can run fully on-prem, supports air-gapped setups, and integrates with existing classified network architectures.
The risk: Teams use different AR/VR devices, each with different storage risks, OS behavior, and update cycles.
Hololight solution: Pixel streaming ensures a consistent security posture across all devices. The device becomes a display, nothing more.
The risk: Traditional XR requires file transfers, model conversions, or external storage, unacceptable for sensitive data.
Hololight solution: With server-side rendering, no conversion, export, or file transfer is needed. XR becomes a secure visualization layer with zero data movement.

Hololight Stream is an advanced XR pixel streaming technology designed to offload rendering from XR devices to powerful external servers. With Hololight Stream you can leverage uncompromised visualization quality and eliminate device and data security constraints. Learn more about Hololight Stream here.
Images rendered by the engine (Unreal Engine, Unity 3D, NVIDIA Omniverse, Autodesk VRED, KeyShot) are pixel-streamed to the XR device. The pixels are encoded and encrypted before being transmitted over the network to the XR device. The device then decodes the pixels and displays the images in their original quality. These rendered images of your application can be streamed from a local PC, the cloud, or a local server, without being limited by the XR device.
Our streaming technology ensures that data always stays on the server, your 3D applications remain untouched. This is critical as devices change hands, are shared, and are used in multiple locations. With server-side rendering and pixel streaming, only pixels are visualized on the device. Once the connection is closed, nothing is left on the device.
Security is our highest priority. With Hololight Stream, data never leaves your infrastructure. All rendering processes remain fully within your network, only pixels are streamed to the end device. There is no storage or processing of 3D content on the end device and connections are fully encrypted. Hololight Stream can be deployed in the cloud or in secure on-premise environments, meeting the strict compliance requirements of the defense industry.
Yes. Applications built in Unity or Unreal can be made streamable by integrating the Hololight Stream SDK, so existing defense apps developed on these platforms can run seamlessly in AR and VR. Once enabled, they are executed on your secure servers and pixel-streamed to end devices, without changing existing workflows. Hololight Stream supports both on-premise and cloud deployments to meet strict defense requirements.
