Engineering chillers and heat pumps comes with unique challenges. The machines are massive, the CAD data highly complex, and the requirements for precision, efficiency, and reliability extremely high. On top of that, showcasing these products to customers or partners is nearly impossible without physically transporting them.

With Hololight Space, ENGIE visualizes its machines as full-scale 3D models in augmented reality. Whether for internal development, supplier collaboration, or customer presentations — the models can be explored in full detail, projected into real environments, and shared in live, multi-user sessions. Even large chillers and heat pumps can be “brought on stage” without ever leaving the factory floor.

This enables faster reviews, reduces development loops, and improves cross-functional alignment. At the same time, Hololight Stream enables the real-time visualization of complex 3D content by offloading rendering to powerful external servers. Only encrypted image data is pixel-streamed to the XR device — the actual application never leaves ENGIE’s local infrastructure, so existing security standards remain fully intact.
