The technical challenge has always been the sheer size of high-fidelity CAD data; complex models with half a billion polygons cannot run locally on mobile headsets without massive data optimization. By using Hololight, Genesis removed this barrier entirely. The application runs on powerful servers, while XR devices receive only rendered image data — including complex CAD data sourced directly from clients, which can now be reviewed smoothly in XR without any prior preparation.
