Snap and Hololight Announce Strategic Partnership to Bring Hololight’s XR Streaming to Snap’s Spectacles

The collaboration will officially be unveiled at Augmented World Expo, USA 2025, June 10-12 in Long Beach.

As part of this strategic partnership, Hololight is bringing its proprietary XR pixel streaming technology to the Snap Spectacles. This integration enables seamless access to high-fidelity, interactive 3D applications to the lightweight, wearable Spectacles. By offloading demanding rendering workloads from the Spectacles to strong cloud or on-premise servers, the solution unlocks a new class of immersive experiences.

While attendees at AWE in Long Beach will be able to experience graphics and applications of unprecedented fidelity and complexity on Spectacles, the teams will continue to develop their technical collaboration. This will allow the Spectacles developer community to use Hololight’s pioneering XR pixel streaming platform later this year.
